Welcome to the GCSE Assessment Module. This section is designed to help you put your learning into practice and prepare for your GCSE Maths exams. Each assessment is based on the topics you have already studied in the lessons and follows the same progression used throughout Acadepic. Every topic includes three assessments: Assessment 1 – Secure Understanding: Build confidence by practising the core skills. Assessment 2 – Develop Understanding: Apply your knowledge to a wider range of questions and more challenging problems. Assessment 3 – Challenge: Tackle exam-style questions that stretch your understanding and prepare you for the highest marks. We recommend completing each assessment without watching the answers first, just as you would in a real exam. Once you've finished, watch the Consolidate video where your teacher works through every question, explains the methods, highlights common mistakes and shows you how to improve. Remember, getting questions wrong is part of learning. The goal isn't just to get the correct answer—it's to understand why it is correct and how to approach similar questions with confidence in the future.
